Collection: Road to the Isles
The Road to the Isles that runs from Fort William to Mallaig, followed by both the West Highland Railway and the narrow winding A830, crosses the mountains and glens of the Rough Bounds before reaching Arisaig onto a spectacularly scenic coast of sheltered inlets, stunning white beaches and beautiful views to the islands of Rùm, Eigg, Muck and Skye.
On it's way, it passes the famous Loch Sheil and the Glenfinnan Monument. I was lucky enough to be on a photo shoot there one January when the hoar frost remained on the trees for a few days despite the bright blue skies during the day. It was truly magical and I felt really privileged to have witnessed such a scene. You can check out the resulting images and judge for yourself.
