Location: On the footpath to Haystacks from Honister Pass
Despite offering a significantly less than five star interior, Dubs Hut has given many a fell walker some much appreciated shelter from the cold, wind and rain.
Better still, is to come here like I did on a bright summers day when you can enjoy an open air lunch near the hut whilst taking in the backdrop of Haystacks, High Crag and High Stile.
The rough stone building is now used as a mountain bothy and I understand that it is still quite well used. For most people, however, it is a landmark on the way to the summit of Haystacks from either Honister Pass or Warnscale Bottom. The building was originally built as a slate-quarry man’s overnight shelter and is now cared for by the Galloping Horse Mountaineering Club of Workington.

Printing and Framing Information
I personally mount and frame all my own orders. By giving them this personal attention, I can ensure that they are professionally presented in the best possible way. I use best quality materials to give a result that you will be proud to display on your own wall or give as a special gift to friends or family.
I offer two frame designs that I think best compliment my collection and fit in with most decors whether dark or light. Here are examples of my frames both of which are FSC Certified.
