Moon rise over Blea Tarn and the Langdales

Location: Blea Tarn
Got up at silly o’clock again to arrive at a beautiful misty Blea Tarn at Little Langdale. When I got there the sun had not risen but there was a pure blue sky at the back of the Langdales which is never good if you want to catch a colourful sunrise. I didn’t have to wait long before this cloud front came in just as the sun started to climb over the eastern fells and the moon was still visible above the Langdales. It all came together with the beautiful scene being perfectly reflected under a blanket of mist.
