Location: Barbara's B&B, Estes Park, Colorado
We stayed in Estes Park at a lovely place called Barbara’s B&B. It was set a little out of the main town in amongst the trees. Every morning there were many birds that came to feed on the food that Barbara put outside on feeders on the deck. It was a real pleasure to watch them whilst we ate our breakfast.
The Steller’s jay is a jay native to western North America, closely related to the blue jay found in the rest of the continent, but with a black head and upper body. It is also known as the long-crested jay, mountain jay, and pine jay.
