A winters climb on Helvellyn

I've always wanted to do a winters climb on Helvellyn, so I set off up the easy stepped path from Thirlmere to get some shots of snow on Striding Edge. I was just having lunch when all of a sudden a rock climber appeared out of nowhere coming striaght up the cliffs to the summit. I quickly fired off a couple of shots before he reached the top of the overhang. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
