Buttermere Awakens

I wanted a shot of when the much loved location of Buttermere started to awake, so after a fall of snow I decided to get up early, very early and set off. When I arrived at Buttermere there was a heavy mist beyond the lake which created a beautiful silhouette of the Sentinels which reflected perfectly in the lake. Buttermere never seems to disappoint, even before sunrise, and when some fabulous wintry conditions come together then all you can do is just sit and take it all in.
