Catbells bathed in morning light greeting card
The write-up on the reverse of this greeting card will be 'It was one of those days when I decided to get up really early just in case there was some mist over Derwentwater. It didn’t materialise, but I decided to climb Catbells anyway so as not to waste my early rise. Once the sun had climbed over Walla Crag, it lit up Skelgill Bank, the frost in the valley and the autumn colours along the western bank of Derwentwater. The low cloud on Skiddaw and Blencathra, for me, makes the shot'.
