Clan Morrison Hill Fort, Dun Eistean

On the northeast coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides Clan Morrison Hill Fort, Dun Eistean, was the ancient stronghold of the Morrisons of Ness. It was first occupied in mediaeval or perhaps even prehistoric times and it was here that Clan Morrison made their last stand against the MacLeods in the 16th century.
