Derwentwater and Catbells from Castlehead

This is a panoramic view of Derwentwater and Catbells that can be enjoyed with very little effort. It's definitely worth the short walk from the Borrowdale road to the top of Castlehead, a low wooded hill just south of Keswick. A small gate gives you access to the woods from where you can take a variety of paths up to the rocky summit; an ideal picnic spot.
