Devils Tower

For me this was made famous when I watched ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ a well known Spielberg film. It was certainly a very impressive structure especially the many columns of rock that can be seen going vertically from top to bottom. Devils Tower was the first declared United States National Monument, established on September 24, 1906, by President Theodore Roosevelt.
