Meet the Woodpecker Family

It was great to Meet the Woodpecker Family !! These are greater spotted Woodpeckers with the young one on the left. They have been visiting this area for some time now and they have got used to seeing me. They are normally quite wary of humans or of any activity so I was really pleased to be able to get as close as this.
