Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Death Valley

Often referred to as Stovepipe Wells Dunes, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Death Valley are like a giant sandbox for photographers to play in. Unfortunately, the highest dunes are a fair trek away with the tallest being about 2 miles out. Also, unless you are prepared to get up really early the dunes will have footprints in them from earlier visitors which will only be blown away by the next overnight winds.
