River Brathay and the Langdale Pikes

The walk from Skelwith Bridge to Elterwater has got to be one of the most popular family walks in the Lake District. It's absolutely safe for children and there's two great pubs at either end for a meal and a pint. The River Brathay and The Langdale Pikes in winter can be quite spectacular and one of my favourite locations for panoramic photography.
