Snow covers the Blencathra Ridges

Over the last few days the view across to Blencathra early in the morning has been spectacular. The low winter sun has cast beautiful shadows across the Blencathra Ridges which have really stood out across the snow covered mountain. It's not until you get a good fall of snow you begin to see why so many Cumbrians call this much loved mountain 'The Saddleback'.
