St. Bees Head sunset

We were returning along the coast to our timber lodge near Keswick after a trip to Wasdale Head. The sunset was so fantastic that I made a quick detour to capture a St.Bees Head sunset. This is one of our family’s favourite places for a day out. The beach and rock pools there is a great place for children (and adults picking winkles) and there are some lovely walks along the cliff top nature reserve to Fleswick Cove and the lighthouse.
