Stock Ghyll Force

Stock Ghyll Force in autumn is a fabulous location to visit whether your'e a photographer or fellwalker. It's only a short walk from the centre of Ambleside and is suitable for all the family. In the spring there is a beautiful carpet of daffodils under the trees so it really is a special place to visit at any time of the year.  I especially like to visit here in the autumn when there is plenty of water and the red and yellow colours of the fallen leaves make it perfect for photography.
