Sunburst over Buttermere and the Lone Tree

It's not often that things align together in photography but I'm sure they did on this occasion at Buttermere. This sunburst over Buttermere and the lone tree was eagerly anticipated. I knew the sun was coming up shortly over the fell line but you never really know what to expect. It's really difficult to capture it at the right time and luck plays a large part in it but I really like this one and the warmth colour that descends on Buttermere.
