Sunset on the descent of Catbells

This has got to be one of the best family walks in the Lake District. It's reasonably safe, and the great views over Derwentwater and the Newlands Valley are your reward. If you are also lucky enough to get a great Sunset on the descent of Catbells then it can be a great climax to a fabulous day's walking on one of the best loved fells in the lakes.
